20 Conferences from Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties will join together for the 5K Charity Walk/Run will start and finish at St Joseph Church Field, Carpinteria

20 Conferences in Ventura County and Santa Barbara County are joining together with St, Joseph Conference to host an easy, family-oriented 5K (3.5 mile) walk on flat terrain from St. Joseph Church through downtown Carpinteria to the State Beach Boardwalk and return to a festive after-walk celebration. All donations reaised by each Conference will remain with that Conference for the benefit of the disadvantaged, the poor, and the needy in the benefiting Conference area.

The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
