Help your neighbors in need while having fun! This is the first annual Friends of the Poor Walk hosted by The St. Joseph Conference of St. Vincent de Paul. Come walk/run along the 5k route along the Cedar Side Trail in Rice Lake WI. 100% of the proceeds will benefits our neighbors by providing temporary shelter, food, clothing and other necessities through the many programs offered by St. Vincent de Paul.
So, what is the cost? A suggested donation of $25 at registration, but we truly welcome any donation! We love our neighbors and hope to raise as much as we can to help them! If you want, we have sponsor forms that you can pass around at your workplace, or within your organizations.
The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
