The event features a walking Rosary placed in the athletic field of the Saint Maria Goretti Elementary Catholic School. This event would be our third year, and we are honoring the victims of COVID. The grounds inside the property of the Church provide security and a safe environment. We invite our Parishioners and local friends to walk with us as we recite the Rosary and raise funds to help those in dire need in our local community. We invite other Conferences in the Fort Worth District Council to join us and elevate our prayers of Intercession to our Holy Mother and our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
