The Society of St. Vincent de Paul District Council of Attleboro is participating in its 12th annual fundraising Walk.  All proceeds from the Friends of the Poor Walk are used locally to assist residents from Attleboro, North Attleboro, Seekonk, Rehoboth, Norton and Mansfield regardless of faith.  Assistance is provided for housing, utilities, and other necessities.  “No work of charity is foreign to the Society.”  Through the donations you so generously provide, the Society is able to offer aid to many families including seniors, adults, children and infants. The assistance helps them through crises or setbacks due to illness, job loss or other economic difficulties.  Our Friends of the Poor Walk is our District Council’s only annual fundraising event.

Please consider joining us on this year’s Walk.  Register as a Walker and use your personal FOP Walk page to solicit donations on your behalf from your friends, co-workers and family.  You can also create or Join a Team when you register.

Memorial or Honorary – On the Donate to Event page, enter your honoree under Donation made in honor of.  Please indicate whether this is a Memorial or Honorary donation.  For $100 donations or higher, please email photo for trail signs and publication to FOPWalk@svdpattleboro.org.

Sponsorships – Businesses or individuals may become sponsors of our event.  Please email your company logo or photos for trail signs and publication to FOPWalk@svdpattleboro.org.  On the Donate to Event page use the Comments box to specify your Business name and type of sponsorship:

• Platinum: $1,000 and above 
• Gold: $500
• Silver: $250 
• Trail sign: $100
