We will be putting on our walking shoes to help out the St. Matthias chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society through the Friends of the Poor Walk. This chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society was recently formed and is run by a very dedicated, compassionate group of people. They are assisting folks in the area in a variety of ways including help with rent, utility bills, food and transportation to the food pantry. They will put the money raised by this walk to very good use. Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide.
The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
