SVDP Resurrection Conference President looking forward to a scenic, refreshing stroll around the island. Hoping we get a big turnout. Everyone is invited.
The money you donate to support this years walk will be used to assist the needy in our area with food, clothing, rent/housing, utility bills, etc. No work of charity is foreign to the Society. Need, not creed, determines who is helped. The St. Vincent de Paul Society plays a major role in the outreach our Parish provides to the poor in the Canton community. Thank you in advance for contributing to the success of this event. You make it possible for us to say to those who call the parish office, yes we will help you.
The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
