We should always find a way to pay it forward and help those who need a helping hand. Growing up we had our parents hand guide us and take us on the right path. I was fortunate to have that, some people do not have many of the every day necessities we often take for granted . What can they do, but find comfort in the hands of strangers who just want to help another fellow brother and sister?! This is a good moment to share your blessings and help by donating to this event, benefiting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. St. Vincent de Paul has helped many families is times of need. I have seen first hand as they have assisted some of my clients in the past with emergency funding when they were in desperate times. I tried so many avenues to help them, only to be denied. Blessed to have had the help of St. Vincent de Paul. Urgent medication to someone who was low income and under insured, back rent to avoid eviction (due to health issue/loss of income ) among other things... <3

 

The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
