Volunteering at the SVDP food pantry has been one of the joys of the past year. All of the Conference members and volunteers are very dedicated to helping the community and each other. Our work has never been more important than during COVID where the members worked very hard to help the community whether it be food, shelter, companionship, and more. The Friends of the Poor walk is the annual fundraiser for the Conference that is critical for ensuring that we can continue to support those in need.
The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
