As you might know, Stacey and I have been involved with our local St. Vincent de Paul for a number of years. St. Vincent de Paul is a world-wide organization dedicated to helping those in most need in our society. The St. Vincent de Paul group we are part of works with those in need in our community, who we refer to as our friends, here in Marlborough, MA. We meet face-to-face with our friends in their homes to bring them our compassion and support, and the love of Christ. We provide financial support as well as referrals to social service agencies. Those who receive help come from all kinds of ethnic and faith backgrounds. Stacey and I, with the help of others, organize an annual Friends of the Poor Walk to help raise funds to support our friends in need. Thank you for your support!

 

The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
