I need your help again to raise money to help the poor and homeless in our community! Because of COVID-19, this year’s Annual Friends of the Poor® Walk is a virtual walk to be held on Saturday, September 26. Every dollar you donate goes to my parish’s SVdP Conference to help the poor in our community.
The last three years, you gave us over $11,000 – for which we are truly grateful. These donations allowed us to give almost $70,000 in aid to 77 people in need! Yet, because of unemployment, rising costs and number of people in need particularly because of COVID-19, we need your help even more this year to raise $5,000. So, help now!
The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
