I am a local member of the community that is served by St Alberts St Vincent DePaul group. The Friends of the Poor Walk benefits our local Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference through St Alberts here in Austin. They work with folks and families in our community directly who need help making ends meet and provide assistance for things like: paying utility bills, helping with rent payments, and getting food on their tables. Lots of people in our community are struggling to make ends meet and could use some help - please donate if you can!

The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event coordinated by the Development Team at the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
